Peer review is an essential part of the forest management certification process under the Malaysian Timber Certification Scheme (MTCS).<\/p>

A peer reviewer provides an independent expert opinion on the level of compliance of a forest management unit by assessing the certification body\u2019s audit report against the MTCS standard requirements.
