\n\tThe First Meeting of the Standards Review Committee (SRC) held from 26 \u2013 28 August 2013 considered the comments received from the First Public Comment period and produced the Enquiry Draft 1 for the review of the MC&I(Forest Plantations). The Enquiry Draft 1 was subsequently subjected to the Second Public Comment period which was conducted from 1 \u2013 31 December 2013. Stakeholders were invited to submit comments and inputs on the Enquiry Draft 1. At the end of the comment period, comments and proposals were received from four (4) organizations, as follows:<\/p>\n
\n\tAll the comments and proposals received will be considered by the Second Meeting of the SRC scheduled to be held from 12 \u2013 13 February 2014 and an Enquiry Draft 2 of the standard will be produced.<\/p>\n
\n\tAs the Secretariat of the SRC, MTCC takes this opportunity to thank all the stakeholders for taking the time and making the effort to study the Enquiry Draft 1, and in submitting the comments and proposals. Stakeholders who wish to submit comments and proposals on the Enquiry Draft 2 may do so during the regional consultations scheduled to be held in Kuching, Kota Kinabalu and Kuala Lumpur in April 2014.<\/p>\n
